Easter is way behind us now, but I’m still catching up :) Here are some pictures from our ward nursery’s Easter egg hunt. Eli tried on someone’s bunny ears, which I thought looked pretty funny. Before the hunt, they had tables set up for the kids to color and use stickers to decorate Easter shapes. I think that’s so smart since people tend to be late.
Once it was time for the hunt, we went outside to look for eggs. Charlie isn’t technically in nursery yet, so he just got a few eggs.
Eli of course wanted to check out Charlie’s stash…
We had Davey with us over the weekend, so he helped Eli spot some eggs.
Eli was being kind of a pill that morning, so here he is being a tad grouchy with his friends from nursery. Sorry Bennett and Davis, Eli’s going through some sort of stage right now… hopefully he’ll snap out of it soon!!
Of course he’s fine if you’re not asking him to do something (like stand next to his friends to take a picture).
Later that day, we dyed Easter eggs at home. Charlie had fun watching, safely buckled into his booster seat.
We kept things simple and just wrote family members’ names on the eggs. Eli’s Froggy is a member of the family so he his own egg.
Here’s the table after the whole thing was over. I was able to clean it off with some bleach. Eli liked the pattern that his mess made!
