This feels like ages ago, but I still want to blog about it – here are more pictures from when Ben’s parents were in town. These are from Sunday when we were at home watching our church’s General Conference. Charlie was super snuggly in my lap, holding his blankie and sucking his thumb before naptime.
Eli wasn’t so into watching conference, so he pretended he was a Wildcat :) (I think because we did March with the Wildcat Band the day before)
In between the morning and afternoon session, we went over to Northwestern’s campus to take a walk along the lake. It was a cool, crisp day and pretty chilly there by the water. I love when we can see Chicago’s skyline from the campus.
Here’s Eli carrying his latest toy, “Jet” – a creation made from Scotch tape.
It was so cold. Ben and his mom were the most appropriately dressed for the weather. I was freezing!
We stopped to see the ducks and the fish near the bridge.
Eli LOVES being swung and was lucky enough to have his grandparents swinging him along the path.
Charlie noticed and asked for it too.
