5:30 a.m. and Cute Dresses at Target

Up and at 'em at 5:30 a.m. Maybe he'll make it to 6 a.m. over the weekend?
I'm not even going to mention our neighbor in this post. I realize that's getting old (I'm sick of it, that's for sure). But I do want to mention - yesterday I found two cute dresses at Target. I think they were $24.99 each.

Why, you may ask, are you buying two dresses as you complain about needing more time to save for a house?

I'm blaming it on sleep deprivation. I love Target!

I Really Need to Go To Bed Earlier...

Today Eli was up crying at 5 a.m. (it was the dog this time)

We didn't go in for 30 minutes, hoping he would fall back asleep. No luck!



So it's another day of up and down emotions for this little guy. He changes moods in seconds.


But hey, 5 a.m. it better than 4:30 a.m... :)

Bright and Early

Our neighbor and her furry friend were up bright and early this morning at 5:30 a.m.

Guess who else woke up a few minutes later? :)

Here we are playing at 6:15 a.m. At least the sun is shining! It's going to be a beautiful (but maybe a little sleepy for me) day.

Reason #529 to Move to a House

Last night as I was in bed at 12:30 a.m. listening to some man outside shouting as he walked down the street (I fondly call him "yeller" because he is often out there talking to himself, walking to the train), I was thinking, I'm really ready to move to a less busy street.

This morning, Ben's alarm sounded at 5:35 a.m. Unfortunately, the alarm not only woke Ben up, but the dog above us, who then jumped off the owner's bed (remember, he's a huge dog) and ran around the condo upstairs. This then woke up Eli, who cried in his crib until I reluctantly climbed out of bed at 6 a.m. (my policy is that anything before 6 is too early when he's healthy) And thus our day started off with a bang.
