The Donut Game

Last week for Family Home Evening, Ben’s mom taught a simple lesson to the kids about being happy and The Great Plan of Happiness, and then we headed outside to play the famous Severson Donut Game. I know it’s not unique just to their family, but it is a Severson tradition, especially around Halloween. For some reason, I had never played it before! Crazy when we have been married for almost 10 years.

Basically you try to eat a donut hanging from a string, without using your hands.

Okay, Charlie cheated. It’s okay though :)

This game results in really goofy pictures, especially of the adults :)

I had powdered sugar on my nose, my lips…

But Charlie had more on his face, so I felt better about that.
