Bubble Wrap Racing

We had some bubble wrap in the house this week and thought it would be fun to do bubble wrap racing.  Eli and Charlie had so much fun running back and forth over the bubbles and making them pop. Eli was very serious about lining the pieces up every couple of races since they would get shifted and twisted with each run back and forth (and I have no idea why he was making crazy dinosaur noises). There's a quick video below the images and you can hear Charlie's happy giggle as he follows Eli over the bubbles.

How Eli Stays Busy

My days seem to go pretty fast lately, though it's funny seeing what fills them. Here are some pictures from what Eli has enjoyed doing this week:

Eli loves putting this hamper over his head and walking around with it (it usually stores balls in the playroom)

Quiet Morning at Home

We had a sprinkling of snow this morning, and I just felt like being at home and getting more done on my massive to do list before the baby arrives. Here are some pictures of Eli playing so nicely - he woke up in a good mood and was very sweet all morning. Sometimes you just need a cozy day inside!

Last night I went to check on him before I went to bed, and as soon as I opened the door, his eyes opened, he smiled, and he laid on his back waving at me with one hand. It was pretty cute. I covered him up with his blanket, said goodnight and closed the door. He went right back to sleep (but this shows what a light sleeper this child is!). I just love this boy so much.
