Playgroup

Yesterday it was my turn to host playgroup. There are a lot of people on the email list, but the number of those that show up is different each week. My living room isn't the hugest room, and yesterday we packed in 12 adults and 15 kids, ages 3 and under. It was a ZOO! It's funny today as Eli and I have been playing with his toys, just the two of us - there are pieces of toys pushed and stuffed into all kinds of weird places. It was fun though!

Here is a clip from yesterday - Eli is standing by the push toy (white and green shirt) looking kind of lost and maybe a little overwhelmed! :)

*The guy you see in the doorway is my friend Rebekeh's husband Keenan - he's a United flight attendant and comes with his two girls to playgroup when he isn't working (yesterday he and Rebekeh were there).

Ah, the playgroup days. It's been several years since I've been at that stage, but what fun it is! I need to get a group going again for poor little Aidan (he just gets dragged around to the big kids' activities!)

Holy Cow, Sarah! That's a huge playgroup! Everyone doesn't seem to mind the cramped quarters, though! I remember those days, so much fun. Never happens anymore, poor younger ones, they just get jetted around from one thing to the next. One day last week Kaelan spent 4 hours in the car! We could have driven to Canada in that time!!!

and thanks for the birthday cake Sarah! - It's funny you can hear Khania's conversation the best even with all that noise gong on! : )(and Khania I mean that in the nicest way!) thanks for hosting the playgroup and always putting it together!!

I love how Eli is just hanging out in the video, watching everything going on around him! So fun to him standing and moving around. What a cutey, Sarah.
