Gray

There's a theme to all of these pictures from this morning as I was driving to playgroup...

Everything was very gray.

(except for the snow everywhere)
But overall, the mood of our weather today felt very quiet...
The blizzard that was supposed to hit us yesterday fizzled, but we got slammed with snow last night and throughout the day today. I was glad to not be driving in rush hour traffic on the highways, which I heard was an absolute nightmare.

Instead, I just drove around my town, my car slipping and sliding on the messy, unplowed streets under the gray, gray skies.

Wow, at least it looks pretty on all those beautiful buildings and trees! I can't imagine your routine you have to go through to get ready to go out of doors! Yikes!!!!

Slipping and sliding? Aren't you terrified about hitting something or someone as you drive?!

Yes! It is a little scary when my car isn't completely in control as I'm driving down the road. I just drive slowly and stay far away from the other cars...

And now when Eli sees me getting his shoes and winter gear together, he takes off running - I usually have to chase him around the house for a few minutes before I tackle him, hold him still and put it all on as fast as I can. :)
