Yesterday we had the special treat of meeting Elmo in person! Eli was VERY excited on our way there, but it was a little scary for him at the same time (he's this way with dogs or other animals too - he loves the idea of them, but gets really nervous when they're close). He wouldn't go near Elmo unless I was holding him, and mostly Eli just waved at Elmo, but eventually worked up the courage to give him a high five.

So fun! Good luck with the baby!! I can't believe that you are almost there!! that is so cold there!!! -1 for a high??? how do you survive? I was having a hard time in Utah at 20 deg and then am enjoying 60 deg here!! I do love cali for the weather. I hope everything goes well and your delivery is very fast! How was Eli's birth?
Looks fun! We went to Disney recently and were laughing at Kellyn, who at about Eli's age was terrified of all of the Disney characters. She would yell "Too big!" and try to get away from them. Seems like being scared is pretty normal, they are pretty huge.
