I think pictures of babies crying are almost as cute as when they're content or smiling... I love watching Charlie's face in his various moods.
Thank you mom for all of your help since Charlie was born!! She went home last night. We'll see how I function next week completely on my own... (I have VERY low expectations - my only requirement is that I squeeze a shower in every day) worried face!
We need to trim Charlie's nails - I've already done it once since he came home from the hospital, but they've grown again and he keeps scratching his poor face
I gave Charlie a bath and decided it was time for a quick photo shoot while Eli was napping.

And it's a whopping 36 degrees today! The wind makes it feel much cooler though. The sun is shining and the icicles on the back porch keep crashing down - it's crazy how heavy and noisy they are when they fall. I don't think our huge blanket of snow is going to melt anytime soon, unfortunately! This winter feels like it is never going to end, but I'm excited we've almost made it to February.

OH! So cute! I just LOVE little feet! I'm sure you're gonna be fine with the two of them! You're a stellar mom! I hope both your boys are sleeping well for you!
I love those pictures. I think I might need to go get my camera out and take pictures of parkers toes and crying face.
LOVE that worried face on Charlie. That's too funny. And I'm wishing you a great first week on your own! You can do it!
He is so cute...I can't wait to see him in person. AND, I if you are able to shower every day you are way ahead of me...and I've had two kids for over a year! Being alone with the two sounds more intimidating than it actually is...
I love the crying face. Too cute!
Hey Sarah. Charlie is so darling. I'm glad your mom was able to stick around and help out for the first week. I wondered about that, since she does live close. Thinking about you.
I think he's looking more and more like Eli. You'll be great with those two on your own. It takes some getting used to but it's fun to see them become friends. I hope your enjoying the warm weather!
He is absolutely adorable!! He doesn't look that big? was he really 8 lbs?? I'm so glad that VBAC worked so well, though the anest. wasn't the funnest. But hopefully you will recover so much quicker this time! I hope you are getting sleep but really all those faces are so worth it (though every hour is definitely too much waking up!)!! Good luck without mom--you can do it!!!
Good luck without your mom there! I hope you get the shower in each day-I didn't after Ashley was born (shh, don't tell anyone).
I love the name Charlie, and can't beleive that such a big baby came out of such a petite woman! Hope you are feeling good :)
Sarah - I can't believe how much he already looks like Eli - what a cutie! You're going to be great this week!
