With all of the snow yesterday, we thought it would be fun to take Eli out to play for a little bit. He was getting a little stir crazy/cranky inside, so we figured a little fresh air might be nice. This was his initial reaction to getting all of the snow gear on:
Those pictures make me laugh - don't think I'm a mean mom for taking them :) He cheered up when we told him some of his favorite neighbors were coming to play too. Ben made lots of snowballs with the snowballer and Eli thought it was really fun throwing them on the ground.
It was still snowing a little, so Eli kept sticking his tongue out to taste it

Eli's nose and cheeks were pretty red by the time we came inside. I think he lasted longer because he was so entertained by Sasha and Oliver - they kept dropping snowballs and saying, "Oops!" and he would laugh and laugh

I love the first pictures of Eli :-)! That's exactly what I would have done too!!! And what a great invention the snowballer is...genius :-).
I am so glad he is feeling better. It is so nice to get your kid and your life back!
I have to say, my face looked just like Eli's in that first one during our last snow storm. After Christmas, I just have no patience with the white stuff!
I want to take Hayden to the mountains this weekend to play in the snow. We don't have enough at home any more. He has never played in the snow before. Eli seems to love it.
Sarah, I am 17 posts behind on your post and as I sit here catching up, I hate to not have read it sooner when you where having such a horrible time. Hopefully this week is a better week. Just watch movies and take it easy so that baby will wait for your parents to get back. I'm sorry to hear about your grandpa and grateful you have been able to have a positive outlook (according to what I've read). Eli and Lea are kindred spirits. I need to find some neighborhood kids to get Lea to be happy put in the snow!
