I’m finding that Eli’s current stage means he can go from happy to sad SUPER fast. He can be the most amiable, sweet little guy and then suddenly will turn into a “NO” machine – no matter what I say, ask, do, it always results in a sour look, sometimes major tears, and an emphatic “NO!” 
I wouldn’t trade this age though – Ben and I can’t get over how much Eli is learning each day. This week he has started telling us full-blown STORIES – we don’t understand every single word, but he really focuses on sharing a whole string of ideas and we usually understand what he’s saying. Oh Eli, we love you!
