Eli had a blast opening presents. We gave him a Cookie Monster plush toy, a light baseball bat and ball (thank you Target dollar spot), some bath toys, a sand and water table, and his favorite gift – SCISSORS! (the sand and water table is a close runner up though). The scissors were one of the first things he opened, and so he proceeded to open the other gifts very slowly with his scissors. It was pretty cute. Eli got a cute fish swimsuit and a $2 bill from his Severson grandparents, and Grandma Judy sent $2 as well. (My family will give him his gift later when we see them next) He loved it all!
It was a fun day with lots of phone calls and birthday songs. Thanks to everyone who called to wish him a happy birthday!
