Eli and I escaped the packing blues yesterday by playing at a fun park. It had a water fountain area, playground, hedge maze, lots of swings, and other fun things. Eli mostly played in the water - and later got VERY dirty in the mud. He was so happy to be away from our messy, boxed-up house!
The mud in these pictures only shows a tiny bit of the mud disaster - later after I had changed him into his shirt and khaki shorts, he walked right into a big pile of mud and got stuck - in inches of wet, squishy mud. It was pretty funny, and if he wasn't so filthy at that moment I would have taken a picture, but he needed to be cleaned off quickly. Luckily he was wearing his crocs, so the mud washed right off. Hopefully I can get his shorts clean again...

Gotta love kids playing in the mud. It's hard to get mad at them, becuase it DOES look like fun :)
